ラッドシューズでは、
このユタカーフに職人が一足ずつ手染めを施し、
革の表情を見極めながら色を重ね、
既製色では表現することのできない、
深い色調と艶、そして濃淡を引き出す。
col. #16 – Dark Burgundy は、
col. #8 が持つ深みと色気をベースに、
さらに色を重ねて仕上げた、
より深いバーガンディ。
革の表情を見極めながら、
一足ずつ色を入れていくことで生まれる、
より深く、艶を帯びた既製の色では出せない、
手染めならではの奥行きをお楽しみください。

UTAH Calf（ユタカーフ）とは...
フランス・HAAS（アース社）。細かなひし形の型押しのある表情と9種類の豊富なオイルを染み込ませたクロム鞣しとタンニン鞣しをそれぞれ行うコンビ鞣しの皮革。
ふっくらとした肉厚な革は、栗、ミモザ、南アメリカ原産の木材ケブラッチョの樹皮などを混ぜ合わせて鞣されているため、柔らかく仕上がり、履き心地もとても良く、包み込むような足当たりが特徴の革となります。

Col. #16 – Dark Burgundy
A deep burgundy developed from the richness and character of Col. #8, with additional layers of hand-applied color to create greater depth and dimension.
Each pair is individually hand-dyed by a craftsman, carefully working with the natural character of the leather to bring out subtle variations in tone, depth, and luster.
The color shifts quietly with the light — revealing its warmth in brighter conditions and settling into a deeper, more subdued tone in the shadows.
A refined expression created not by a standard color, but by the hands of the craftsman.
